I am originally from Richmond, Virginia and completed my nursing undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. After working for several years in medical-oncology and high-risk pregnancy in the hospital setting. I served as a Captain in the Air Force where I was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. In the Air Force I worked on the labor and delivery unit and level II nursery. I then moved to Wenatchee, Wa with my husband John, a Spokane native, where I again worked in the labor and delivery and newborn unit.
Upon receiving my graduate degree from Washington State University we moved to Spokane and I began working at Northwest Spokane Pediatrics. It was there when I developed a true passion for pediatrics. I enjoy every stage of development and have a special interest in breastfeeding assistance and support, teen health, and parenting education. When I am not working I am busy with soccer and basketball for my two daughters, at the dog park with our adopted chocolate lab or spending time at the lake with family and friends. I look forward to meeting your family.
